My mom struggles with severe anemia and often ends up in the hospital needing blood support, while my dad has been a regular blood donor for years. Seeing both sides of that reality made blood donation deeply personal to me.
I had donated blood myself back in India, and when I looked at the process again in Canada, I kept thinking about how much more we could do to make donation feel visible, trusted, and supported. Donors were giving something lifesaving, yet there was very little recognition, transparency, or community momentum around it.
OneHeart was created to connect donors, blood banks, and partner organizations through transparent verification, meaningful rewards, and measurable impact while keeping sensitive medical data off-chain. We are not just building a product, we are building a more human public-good protocol around verified giving.
